Hatsun does a number of extension activities i.e., Hatsun conducts several activities and events that help improve the general quality of the dairy farmer and his/her animals. Hatsun conducts mass conduct camps wherein activities can vary from one camp to the other. Some camps are held simply for the good health of the dairy animals, and activities here include deworming activities, providing FMD vaccinations and, of course, artificial insemination. As for the farmers themselves, Hatsun arranges camps wherein animal-loans are provided, and farmers given advice that help improve the productivity of the milch cows. Most camps also include entertainment activities such as exhibitions and animal shows. Awards and prizes are also given out during these camps for prompt repayment of loan, and for the best dairy farmer (in terms of productivity).
